British Academy Award-winning director and writer Peter Duffell tells his fascinating journey through the films and TV shows on which he worked alongside.

After years spent directing television series, such as The Avengers (1967) and Man in a Suitcase (1967-1968), Duffell's first feature, The House that Dripped Blood (1971), a horror film that later developed a cult following,  mirrored his future work with great stars of the era, including Christopher Lee, Denholm Elliot, Peter Cushing, and Ingrid Pitt.

Duffell shares highly entertaining stories of writing the script for England Made Me (1973), based on a book by Graham Green, one of his great heroes. Duffel also tells of the off-screen drama while filming The Far Pavilions, (1984), a mini series with John Gielgud and Omar Sharif.

Discover the fascinating journey of a dedicated British filmmaker, whose work still pleases film and classic television fans in many countries.
